Kimpton Hotel Born Denver Opening August 15

Hotel Born guestroom

Anchoring Denver’s revitalized LoDo neighborhood and Colorado’s transportation hub, Kimpton Hotel Born is Union Station’s most authentic urban refuge. Developed by Continuum Partners, the co-master developers of the Union Station transit center and neighborhood, Hotel Born was designed to be the pride of the new heart of Downtown Denver, with every detail – from Bavarian inspired materials to exposed concrete ceilings, from floor to ceiling windows to an entirely original art collection of 750 pieces by local artists – crafted to impart an elevated, urban vibe. Hotel Born offers 200 guest rooms, nearly 14,000 square feet of meeting space including two private terraces – one facing the mountains to the West, the other overlooking the now iconic Union Station Transit Hub canopy – and two of Denver’s most highly anticipated new restaurants, Citizen Rail and Tavernetta.

Designed by Denver-based Semple Brown, Kimpton Hotel Born’s architecture and alpine modern interior design is inspired by the hotel’s Union Station neighborhood location and the active, energetic lifestyle of Colorado residents and visitors. The lobby blends knotty pine paneling and walnut herringbone floors with hand-woven jewel-toned vintage rugs, custom millwork and unique, one-of-a-kind custom furniture pieces.  The guest rooms feature fresh white walls, dark brown and gold herringbone patterned carpet, a mix of traditional and modern furniture, and knotty pine paneled headboards and canopies.

Accommodations: 200 guest rooms, 40 of which are suites
Rates: Starting at $229/night or (800) 368-2544
